We value our community as much as we value our team, customers and partners! Over the past several years, we have celebrated each time we have gained 1000 new Facebook followers. Yes, we are excited to see our business grow however we have a commitment to our community each time we achieve this milestone.
For every 1000 new followers, we donate R1000 to a charity of our choice. It’s one of our favourite things to do, and we are so grateful to the phenomenal charities we work with for all of their incredible work. It is extremely important that from our successes, we, in turn, support our community. Not only is it part of our value system, but it’s also part of who we are and who we strive to be!
Our city and community need as much support as they can get, and we want to be part of that in all that we do. We do this by donating to local charities. In addition, we want to take a moment to shine a spotlight on each of them and all that they are doing.
Guardians of Hope
Established in July 2017, Guardians of Hope provides a home, love and care to abandoned and destitute babies, as well as babies who were put up for adoption. They support family reunification, permanent fostering and adoption. The Guardian of Hope home ensures that all babies are taken care of spiritually, emotionally and physically.
Greensleeves Children’s Trust
Greensleeves Children’s Trust provides a safe haven where children can be children. They aim to equip the children in their care with the skills and ambition to bring positive change into their communities, country and continent. Greensleeves is an established grassroots foster support home. They believe children should not have to worry about their next meal or live a life of fear.
Autism Sinethemba
Autism Sinethemba is an Early Intervention Centre for young children with Autism. Currently, they teach 25 children with a staff of 7 members. They focus on developing meaningful communication and speech. They promote development in all learning areas, and their school fees are affordable to provide access to people from all socio-economic groups.
Canaan Care Centres
Canaan Care Centres support children from birth to 16 years old with severe physical disabilities and profound Learning Disabilities. They provide an appropriate and therapeutic environment so children with disabilities can develop the skills necessary to reach their full potential. They also provide a safe and homely boarding facility for up to 8 children during term time for those children who attend their school.
We are honoured to support the work of these incredible charities. We believe in the difference they are making. Their lists of needs are long, yet they are changing the lives of so many and inspiring a new generation to come. We, at Evolution Life, have an ongoing commitment to our communities, so we look forward to more opportunities to support local charities.
